The ongoing factional feud within the Trinamool Congress in Barrackpore has gained prominence, prompting the party's top leadership to intervene. Trinamool State President Subrata Bakshi revealed plans for conflict resolution by organizing a closed-door meeting with key members, including Barrackpur MP Arjun Singh and MLA Somnath Shyam.
Additionally, a meeting was convened in Naihati municipality, where Subrata Bakshi, along with Minister Partha Bhowmik, MP Arjun Singh, and municipal councilor Ashok Chatterjee, engaged in discussions to address the internal discord. Despite the absence of Jagaddal MLA Somnath Shyam, the meeting proceeded as planned, reflecting the party's commitment to resolving internal issues.
